About the Founder

Cathy has worked over 10 years in the Health Care Industry. She created RainbowMaker one year after the loss of her son at birth. RainbowMaker was spun with the hope of helping others heal and aiding those who work hard everyday to support bereaved parents and their families. With the publication of "Tiny Hands Change the World," she hopes to spread the vision that "we can all make a difference."

In her words; "If I had known that there was so much support on the web and through others' journals and books, my first few months of grief and despair would have been lighter."

Cathy's work is seen on the Kota Press web site and printed in "A Different Kind of Parenting." A' zine for parents whose children have died. Her poetry has been selected to be printed in the 2nd edition of "Give Them Wings and Let Them Fly" by Kimberli Brady. View the book under "off the shelf," on our home page.

Cathy has been writing for the "Healing Garden Journal," a holistic magazine, since 2001. The articles define moments and life changes that are "Awakenings" and "Enlightened Living."
